Welcome to my class! 
My name is Ms. Cleland, and I will be the 6th Grade Language Arts teacher on the Sharks team at Dillard Drive Middle School.  This will be my 7th year as a teacher and my third year at Dillard Drive. I am from Durham, North Carolina but I grew up right down the road in Pittsboro. I completed my undergraduate degree at East Carolina University in 2010 where I got a BS in Middle Grades Education.  In 2012, I started at UNC-Chapel Hill and just finished my Master's degree in Special Education in 2014. I am a member of DDMS's RTI team.  I enjoy cooking (I'm also a caterer!), reading, and playing with my dog, Dudley. Next July, I will be marrying my fiance, Cale. :)
